A Fresh Look, Same Heart: Harvest Hill Continues Community Improvements

For the last two years, Harvest Hill in Lebanon, New Hampshire, has been implementing a steady stream of improvements, enhancing common living spaces and updating the look and feel of the community. Management collaborated with local interior designer Judy Elliott to explore new color palettes, artwork, furniture and functional improvements that meet the needs of our residents and staff while providing a refreshed look.

Early in the process, a small group of residents came together to provide feedback and vote on color schemes for the hallways and common areas. The improvements began to take shape slowly at first, but work has picked up and progress has accelerated in recent months.

“It’s exciting to see the community come together in a whole new way,” said Director of Sales and Marketing Carol Kolenski. “These updates have brought a fresh energy to Harvest Hill.”

Some changes are more obvious than others. Common spaces like the lobby and resident cubbies at the entrances to apartments have clearly changed. While new paint, flooring, furniture and artwork are easy to spot, some upgrades, such as lighting treatments to reduce glare and improve sightlines and additional ADA accommodations, are more subtle.

While many updates have already been completed, there’s more to come. Future projects include refreshed staff areas, enhanced fitness and physical therapy spaces, an expanded outdoor pavilion and new siding. The improvements are all part of Harvest Hill’s continued investment in the resident experience.

“Our goal is to continually invest in our community so residents feel proud of where they live today and confident about the future,” said Executive Director Nikki Fortier. “These improvements support both comfort and quality of life while creating spaces where people can truly feel at home.”

Change can feel disruptive, but residents and staff have been patient and gracious, taking it all in stride. A resident recently stepped out of her apartment and commented on how proud she was of where she lives. That sense of pride makes us proud as well.

The continued improvements throughout Harvest Hill reflect our commitment to creating a welcoming, comfortable community where residents can thrive. Learn more about life at Harvest Hill Assisted Living by calling 603-308-0475 or by requesting information on our website.
