Our primary focus is to empower older adults to live their lives as independently and authentically as possible no matter where they are in their cognitive and physical journey. Memory Care and Assisted Living residents live together in one community where they enjoy meal sharing, social events and community activities. Memory care residents also enjoy specialized activities through our dedicated life enrichment program supervised by trained healthcare professionals who understand the challenges of caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
Even as symptoms progress, residents with dementia can still have their needs met by our team so they don’t have to face the disruption of moving from their current residence, a known risk factor for worsening cognitive decline. Couples with one person living with dementia can stay together and still get the appropriate care needed to meet their individual needs.
We take a resident-centered approach to memory care and strive to get to know everyone as a whole person, which allows us to provide more specialized care. This unique care model is supported by extensive yearly training in dementia care for all team members from the utilities to the housekeeping and culinary personnel. All direct care team members and community healthcare providers also receive dementia care certification from the Alzheimer’s Association.

Services
Our memory residents receive assistance and support based on their individual needs. Nurses meet with every new memory care resident and their family before they move in to design a comprehensive care plan that will best suit their needs and is respectful of their privacy and dignity.

- Medication management
- Incontinence care
- Mobility support and transfers
- Transportation for outings and appointments
- Supervision of palliative or hospice services
- Coordinating care from medical providers
Emergency Call System
Safety and security are a top priority at Harvest Hill. All residents have an emergency call device (PHB-personal help button). With a push of a button, they will get immediate help for a fall or other health-related emergency.
