Amy Thornton, RN
Harvest Hill Administrator
As the Administrator at Harvest Hill, Amy leads the caring employee team that ensures our residents receive the best services possible, while making our community a warm and inviting home for our residents. Working with seniors has been Amy’s lifelong passion. She began senior care in high school, working her way from volunteering at a local nursing home and hospital to obtaining her LNA, LPN and RN. All told, Amy has 32 years of experience in senior care, 29 of those years as a nurse. When not at work, Amy enjoys time with her family, gardening, walking, hiking, kayaking, and beekeeping.
Peggy Cooper
Director of Marketing & Sales
Peggy’s primary job at The Woodlands and Harvest Hill is to introduce potential new residents to each of our communities. She initially met many residents of The Woodlands and Harvest Hill residents through her position as Community Relations and Volunteer Coordinator for Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital. As someone who came to the Upper Valley to spend time with her parents in their later years, she has a distinct understanding of how our team can help. Peggy feels extremely fortunate that she has been able to get to know both residents and families while offering them the best in senior living communities.
Sam Fazio
Director of Food Service
Harvest Hill and The Woodlands
Sam has a passion for making people happy through meals that taste great and give people a chance to relax and enjoy themselves. After a career in food service in the Buffalo, New York area, Sam relocated to Lebanon, where he fell in love with the residents here as well as his wife, Christina, who he met at Harvest Hill. He oversees the food operations and our front line service staff for both communities, ensuring that we are catering to our residents’ every need. As he says, our caring and devoted staff make his job easy.
Sandra McKenney, RN
Resident Care Manager
Harvest Hill
Sandra oversees a team of 45 staff who care for Harvest Hill’s assisted living and memory care residents. After starting as one of our staff nurses, Sandra was promoted to clinical coordinator for our Elizabeth S. Hughes Care Unit. Before joining the Harvest Hill team, she worked in memory care units as a Licensed Nursing Assistant. Sandra always knew she wanted to work in geriatrics after graduating from nursing school, and today, she feels privileged to work somewhere with such a deep sense of community where residents receive exceptional care. Sandra lives in White River Junction, Vermont, with her two sons, ages 8 and 14.
Rebecca Goff
Wellness Manager
The Woodlands
The Woodlands enthusiastically welcomes our new Wellness Manager, Rebecca Goff. Rebecca offers and coordinates a range of Wellness activities to residents of The Woodlands and welcomes incoming residents, facilitating their transition into The Woodlands’ community. “I’ve always loved working with people, but I especially enjoy the population just ahead of me in years for their wisdom, work ethic, and interest in spending time with others (rather than their electronic devices)! I’ve found this to be especially true of those in the Woodlands community, and I’d add, for their kindness in how they treat each other and staff members. I’m very grateful for how welcome they’ve all made me feel.” Rebecca brings a varied background, from working in hotel management, to running her own business helping elders down-size, to working as an LNA at DHMC.
